Palo Alto, California  --  Bitcoin security technology company BitGo has announced the availability of its new set of tools and services for bitcoin developers.

Called the BitGo Platform API, the system features "multi-signature HD wallets, strong authentication, real-time transaction monitoring and key signing policies."

BitGo cited a number of companies developing their offerings on his new platform, such as Coins.ph, Lamassu, LibraTax, MaiCoin and TradeBlock.

The system holds a key for every wallet created through the API and acts as a co-signer on all block chain transactions.

In addition, BitGo uses a variety of fraud detection, treasury policies and other tools to validate each transaction before it co-signs.
